Texas A&M is a team of men...those guys are tough. I doubt they lose at home this year.

I don't think we played that well today, and we still took it down to the wire on the road against a top 10 team. For us to go 4-12 from the free throw line and have 16 to's, I would've thought we would've lost by more than that.

My biggest beef with us today is our help defense was garbage (a lot of standing and watching).

Flush it and move on to Tuesday night.

We played ok today. We needed to play great down the stretch to win on the road against a good team with those refs and we didn't. Still don't understand all the negative crap about our players and our coach. Some people need to get a life. We have a fun team that is competitive with the best in the nation. A loss at number 5 A&M is not the end of the world.

Why not? Burton played well, but McKay really dusted himself off and had a great 2nd half. Nobody else was consistently good today.

We've got some fans testing out McKay as their go-to irrational whoopin boy. It's not a good look.

I love the state of ISU basketball when we can muster up a minor meltdown after a loss to a really good team on the road. This team has proven its resilience and will come back and play well on Tuesday.

I honestly think we just had a couple of guys who had off days. Nader and Morris. And in all seriousness, aTm's defense was really good at limiting Morris. Nader kind of made bone head plays on his own. There are days Nader is so good. There are also days you just don't want him to get the ball.

Foul trouble, turnovers (some of them unearned) and a little bit of home cooking. A&M plays good defense and did catch us napping a few times.

We were the favorite? This was a middle-of-the-pack Big 12 team on the road against the SEC conference leader, #5 vs #14, and you think that means the Big 12 is overrated? JFC.

I roasted him a bit in 1st half. Thought he played really gutsy down the stretch though, was impressed.

I guess if the team is rated higher than u then we just give up. Didn't we just beat #1 & #4 team? I don't care about rankings or where is played. The team looked like Crap today. TAMU is a good team but they are not the 5th best team in the country.

About what I expected, just impossible to be up for this game. Basically meaningless for us, huge for them...million miles from home, sandwiched between 3 huge games.

The whole concept of this challenge is stupid. Just glad nobody got hurt. Nice to have this one, but really meaningless. Hard to get up for this one when you got 6 guys.

Refs were fine. Better team today won.

I'm fine with saying A&M was the better team at home today.

Saying the refs were fine is wild delusion. They lost basic touch with the reality of what the sport of basketball is for stretches. They were horrendous.

Had the 7-0 run without Niang. Then 3 straight TOs.

Had another run to go up 2 late. Should have been up 4 but a missed bunny. Then a turnover and poor shot. A&M starts a run, including the long 3pt shot that Matt contested well.

Tons of TOs. Some were incorrect calls. But still way too many. Loads of missed FT between McKay and Burton.

3 possessions in 2nd half with way too early contested 3pt shot too.

I thought McKay battled today. I think pinning this loss on him is silly and unfair...but he has brought on a lot of it on his own by repeatedly airing his dirty laundry...it's not at all like last year with Matt, where he went out and battled every night, and never complained, but still got ripped into.
