not familiar with Mercy, Vikes, but Google tells me they were pretty good in the Jr sand world.

I remember you took your pipes to Wi., you didn't bring your kilt? that seems like going to play baseball taking your bat but no glove.
I met my wife showing up to softball practice without a glove.

Woo might meet his future wife by showing up to bagpipe practice without a kilt.

I'm getting reprimanded in the cave because my posts are too mean to people. If you guys could let me know when I've said something to hurt your feelings, I'd greatly appreciate it.
My feelings are kinda hurt that you're showing something close to sensitivity by sorta kinda caring about other's feelings.

Just for the record, "sugar" is the texas way of sounding nice while patronizing you.

I know haha. The only thing that would have made it better is if she would have included "bless your heart"

and I'm choosing endearment. You may be rolling your eyes, KC, but I'm still choosing endearment

I think I would do better by showing up with a kilt without compression shorts. That's how I met my wife.

So how's these 'loaner' kilts work...like is it a one size fits all deal, or do they have a closet of them to choose from, and the freshman have to pick thru the leftovers, and the little guy at the end of the line is dropping his kilt half the time?

They actually do a surprisingly good job at getting people one's that fit. There are different sizes, but it helps that the straps that fasten the kilt together are like belts so one kilt can fit different sized people. And it's like marching band. In the fall we would go in (often upper classmen went in first), get a kilt that fit, and that would be ours for the semester or year (however long we needed it). At the end of that time, we'd turn them back in and they'd go to the cleaners. And if someone had been really rough on their kilt and it had been damaged, that person would be responsible for paying for a new one, so you treated them really well.
