I just got a text from my daughter's school that they have cancelled school tomorrow due to a high amount of absences. The Royals victory parade is going on at noon tomorrow.

We won the group costume award at the Halloween party Friday night. I should have called in sick today for our victory parade.I just got a text from my daughter's school that they have cancelled school tomorrow due to a high amount of absences. A bunch more school districts just cancelled now.
Is the city pretty electric right now? It's gotta be a blast being around there today.A bunch more school districts just cancelled now.
We understand that no Jimlad is necessary.A family member on Facebook just posted that. There is a high probability that when the Cubs win the WS I will be at the parade.

I'm one of the people Boxster hates because I am a bit of a holier than thou fan, but I would say no. The reason you're staying home doesn't have a lot to do with how the team's doing, but instead you just prefer it. That's just a personal preference choice, so I wouldn't factor that in deciding how much better a fan I am than you :wink:I'd ask this question in the football forums but I already know what the response would be from them. Figured I might as well just ask a much more level-headed crowd.
Are you a bad fan if you prefer to watch the game from home over going to the game?
I enjoy going to games but I like watching them from home more because I feel like I can get into the game more and see everything so much clearer with TV.

Well, folks...he may have been trying to sneak Jager, X, and THC wax into kinnick, but dammit, he's a true fan because he was at the game.

Don't forget about the guy that tried to eat toilet paper to help with a breathalyzer.
Edit: CloneFan4 beat me to it...

I've heard of sucking on a penny to pass a breathalyzer test (which obviously doesn't work) but never heard of eating toilet paper to pass one.
