While Tyler Cook is on another level than Painter it is interesting that Iowa stopped recruiting a decent PF they had a good shot at & who took an official visit in June. I guess it could be because they want to focus on Cook too however.

Weird. What an odd list. Could we have backed off? I can't imagine why we would, but hard to swallow Houston, Mercer, SFA, Butler ahead of us.

I'd have to think that we cooled off considering we were just in his top 3 a month ago and now we get beat out by Mercer. Not sure why we would cool off though b/c he's a guy who I've been impressed with & imo the best SG we were after.

Weird we would back off a guy we were showing interest in that recently given the number of schollys we have available.

Agreed, plus we have zero commits so I really don't know why we would back off unless like mentioned above that we're in on a better prospect we don't know about.

Um, I think the prior posts were implying ISU backing/cooling off because of a possible better player....not Waters.

Either way, hard to see us doing that with so many open ships.
