I don't think there is nay questions Fred is the Bulls top choice. The question is, does Fred want the job?

Bulls fan of 30 years, ISU of 20, lived in chicago previous 14 years...I have thought the recent interest was pushed by Bulls due to Fred's health situation.

100-ish game season in the nation's second largest sports media market is the definition of a grind.

Alvin Gentry is a frontrunner? Seems like a bad move if you're Chicago to get rid of Thibodeau for Gentry.

Logic may take a back seat when people have an axe to grind with each other. Plus the Bulls boosted offensive talent without really improving offensive results, the biggest mark against TT's performance thus far.

Hoiberg and Bulls general manager Gar Forman have a close relationship. Forman was an assistant coach when Hoiberg played at Iowa State in the mid-1990s.

You guys ever just sit back and wonder if Hoiberg is just laughing at all of this. We haven't heard a peep from him since he thanked everyone for the well wishes after his surgury.

I anticipate a Hoiberg pay raise and NBA buyout increase, an Alvin Gentry pay raise, and Thibs to be the coach of the Bulls next year.
