Vegas is the type of place where you can't have too much parental involvement
 
Someone on the Phog said they heard last night from several people it's a ISUv KU battle for Diallo and not so much SJU v KU. I guess Bossi said something to that effect as well.
 
While waiting to see what Diallo is doing i cant help but shake my head in the process seeing Zimmerman committing to play for UNLV and Dave Rice....this just keeps getting more and more absurd watching the talent that goes to UNLV to then play for a coach that has his teams score 55 pts a game and also not make the NCAA tourney.

I totally get what you're saying about Rice and the talent he keeps getting despite showing he's nothing special as a coach, but Zimmerman is from Las Vegas, so that makes a lot more sense.

Zimmerman goes from one Rice brother (high school coach) to another (college coach), he's from Vegas so he's staying local and UNLV did just have a #1 draft pick a couple years ago. It's not completely absurd but I do understand what you mean.
 
I wouldn't buy into this too much, but a guy on twitter claiming to be a friend of Cheick's family said Cheick would commit to St. Johns on Monday. He's probably just the St. John's version of istatenation though.

@GoodmanESPN: Dave Rice & UNLV needed Stephen Zimmerman for multitude of reasons. Skilled big man w/high ceiling. Rice's brother is Zimmerman's HS coach.

Someone just posted on twitter that Diallo to NBADL because he hates the new Star Wars trailer according to a guy that works at Cheick's school.
