MLB: ***Chicago Cubs 2015 Season***

Great win!

But....I wouldn't rush out to buy an Olt jersey. Was really hoping he'd produce, but not sure he's a major league talent
 
kudos to the cubs on getting the series win. See you later on down the road. I guess I can take solace that you needed a former Rockie to do it. :smile:
 
Hawkins did well last year.

Glad we could take the series from the Rockies. While I don't think they are a playoff team, they have one of the best offenses in the MLB.

Great win. A year or two ago we didn't get our first series win until June.
 
LaTroy was in vintage form from his Chicago days! Seriously good win though. Very important to get off to a decent start this year and some late inning comeback wins are great confidence builder for a team that hasn't had many of those in recent years.

Also, it's so nice to see the bullpen excellence from last year carrying over so far. The Rondon/Strop/Ramirez trio is a damn good back end of a bullpen if they can keep healthy.

It the same story it always is in Colorado. A great offense with suspect pitching.
 
Was driving back to my house from the folks and listening to the game. Woke my dog up when Fowler hit that dinger.

But man, I miss listening to Ron Santo call games. He would have been so excited when Dex hit that HR.
