New JTS Visitor seating arrangement

Still not sure why they don't move them at least to the other side. Why do we give the visitors the non-sun side?
My thoughts exactly....although we will likely have few night/sunset games with our previous years' record.
I've never understood why Iowa State uses the sun sideline. Every other home team, literally college or pro, I have seen utilizes the non-sun sideline.
I've heard a few time that ISU likes to use the sun side because it a little warmer, and because being on the side opposite of the cameras gives them more exposure.
Heck, we'll probably go back to the days of 1pm kickoffs with no t.v. if this keeps up.
I would think you should be more worried about keeping the sun out of your season ticket holders then you are keeping the visiting fans off TV. In the end, the sun isn't a HUGE deal, but it can be a pain for the 1st quarter of night games when you are on that side.
It keeps our students and our team on TV. It keeps the visiting fans and team off TV. Seems pretty logical to me.

You could still keep the students and team on TV. Just move the visitors to the SE corner instead of the SW.
I'm guessing that the SEZ will help with this issue. Maybe not for those in the nose bleeds...
I may be one of the few, but I like being on the sun side. We rarely have super-high-temp day games, and in the winter the sun side "feels" warmer than the shade. Sunset is kind of annoying, but sunglasses & a visor or billed cap take care of that.
I agree...my point is with the sunset which is annoying. But again, that annoyance does not last too long.
