West Virginia's style of play needs to be #reprimanded.Refs in that game needed to be #reprimanded.
Can someone summarize for me how TCU got screwed? I don't doubt they did.
I didn't watch the whole game, but saw on the highlights that TCU got called for a weak foul that sent WVU to the line down 1 with a second left.
I agree with all of the comments regarding WVU's style of play this year. We were fortunate to escape Morgantown uninjured. That said, I missed the end of the game. What happened?
I don't blame him. The refs are letting WV get away with extremely physical games and calling the number of fouls evenly when anyone plays WV. That is ********. WV should have 2x the number of fouls as the opponent every time due to their style of play. If they called them for all their BS early in the game, they would have to pull back and foul less the rest of the game.
Instead the refs are either just letting them play, or calling the other team for the same number of fouls while ignoring half of WV's fouls. I would not be surprised if there is a fight between players at some point this season, as I'm sure they are frustrated with WV style of wrestling. I mean, basketball.
What's funny about this is that TCU was on the winning end of a terrible call a few possessions earlier when a West Virginia player was called for a foul at the same time that the TCU player was called for traveling. Despite the fact that it was clear and obvious that the foul happened well after the travel, the foul call stood and it nearly cost West Virginia the game.I didn't watch the whole game, but saw on the highlights that TCU got called for a weak foul that sent WVU to the line down 1 with a second left.
Of course this isn't even a discussion if TCU doesn't do a horrible job of defending on the inbound. That's about the worst last second defense I have ever seen.
