I also noticed the "wall" directly in front of the concrete piers behind the bleachers. Hadn't noticed that last week. Fun to see this moving along!

I assume grading for the upper deck support structures has begun. Why the plastic over the end seats as well as the field? Perhaps the wall along the lower deck end will be lopped off soon.

The cover on the field is to protect it from frost and help keep it growing (holding heat under it) since we still have games left on it.

Posted this in another thread but I think they should start tearing out the bleachers, scoreboard, and south hills. With last 2 games being during Thanksgiving break they can put people in other seats, I'm a current SEZ'er and I would be happy to sit elsewhere. Get that thing done asap.

True, there will be more than enough seats open throughout the rest of the stadium for all the SEZ tickets.

They will keep the grass since we have a fantastic turf grass management program at ISU.

Agreed. That field looked just as good after the game as it did before. I see NFL stadiums with grass fields that are nowhere near the quality of JTS

Given the empty seats last weekend, they probably figure they can just relocate the hillsides and SEZ up to the upper -east side.
