On the podcast last night, CW and crew discussed non-con games and why we can't yet get many great ones at Hilton. What are some you would like to see, realistically speaking of course?

Personally I think bringing back a Mizzou rivalry game with them annually at the Sprint Center would be great. Power 5 conference opponent, would be well attended by both fan bases, and gives ISU the opportunity to play at the Sprint Center prior to B12 tournament play.

Mizzou in KC would be cool. Creighton I would welcome a home and home with. That would be a good seasoning environment for the team and we could try a Cyclone takeover by buying all the Nebraska football fans tickets up and taking over Blowmaha.

I'd like to see Missouri, Nebraska, and Colorado join us, OU, OSU, KU, and KSU to recreate the old Big 8 Holiday Tournament in Kansas City each year. I know that current rules don't permit that, but it would be pretty awesome.

If I just had to pick one team, though, it'd be Minnesota. That'd be a sweet non-con rivalry to get started.

Trying to get an AAC team to sign on for a home-and-home seems like a no-brainer. UConn, Cincy, Memphis, maybe even SMU. These are all legit hoops programs that are going to be looking for strong non-con game every year because re-alignment left them in such a lousy basketball conference.

Never Mizery or Nebraska. Ever.

I'd like to see a top tier team - UNC, Duke or the like - come to hilton.

I still want the former coaches tournament in Hilton. Creighton, Colorado State, where's Floyd, UTEP?

Not interested in starting up any neutral site games.

Home and homes with:
Minnesota
Wisconsin
Creighton (wanted to see this happen back when Altman was still there, nothing to do with Greg)
Illinois
Michigan
Michigan State
Indiana
Colorado State or UTEP just to get Larry/Tim back in Hilton

Creighton, Mizzou, Wichita State are all games I'd like to see.

Gonzaga is one I would give a kidney to see.
VCU would be a mind-blowing spectacle of intensity. I think the two styles would create a phenomenal game.
Michigan or Michigan State would be very good again.

I'd be happy to get an invite to one of these top tier tournaments.
That's how Kansas, Mich State, UNC, Duke, Kentucky bolster their non-con. If they lose, its a good loss and doesn't hurt them.

I just don't see any of those teams agreeing to a home-home anytime soon. Hope I'm wrong.

Agree with this as well:

Ones i would like to see.......home and home series

G'Town
Duke
'Nova
Cuse
UCLA
Florida
Kentucky (just not this year)

"Locally," I'd like to see us play Illinois. Nationally, I'd love to see us play any of the big names, but especially Duke. It is too bad that game a few years back was so bad.
