I don’t know if anyone else listened to Crean’s speech? If so, maybe you can help me out. At one point he said, “ I want to find out what IU stands for.â€￾ I can help with that; it stands for Indiana University. Don’t you think that is something you would want to know before taking a job. I wouldn’t take a job that I’m not sure what the letters stand for. Lots of problems could come of that. How would you even know what your paid check should say?

Man, I agree with you completely. Back in my younger days I thought that IU stood for "intoxicated underwater". Which is how I spent most of the summer of 1998. Personally, I think Crean is a cold hearted snake.

Incarcerated University. Oh wait, that one is in Sewer City over on I80

I listened to Crean's whole speech on Espn news and I really think he is the right man for the job. He is going to be able to recruit very well there, and we all know he can coach.

He may have said the right things but did you look into his eyes? Oh oh ... You know the rest.

I am confused by why teams like IU and KU go with those letters when it is University of _______. Best of luck to him in his search of the truth.

Actually, IU is properly referred to as Indiana University.

But you're right about KU. It is the University of Kansas. That confuses me too.

IU obviously stands for "Incarcerated Undergrads." Or was it Iowa University? I always get that mixed up. Kind of like the homemade coleslaw that I make sometimes. You've got to make sure it mixes well otherwise it just doesn't turn out as good as it could. And everyone knows that the make-or-break ingredient involved with making coleslaw is how well you mix the sauce. You know?

Why would anyone step into that job. It is such a mess over there. Everyone on tv is saying how he will get a longer time to turn it around than any other IU coach. That can change prett quick.
