Well, it's almost here! I don't know what to think of this game. Historically, we play our worst against them, but if our last game was any indication, there is some hope. I'm sure Stoops will have his team well prepared after a couple of bad outings. Hopefully our offense performs again and Wally has time to get the defense ready to at least slow the Sooners down.

My prediction:

Head - OU 35- ISU 21

Heart - ISU 38 - OU 35

How do you think this game will play out?

If the offense is for real, and it looks like it the last couple of weeks, we make a game of it.
Probably something like:
OU 38
ISU 31

That said, we have a shot unless their offense goes crazy.

Edit: "until" was supposed to be "unless." We have a chance in this one.

I'd feel a lot better about it if OU didn't also have a bye week after two losses...they will be fired up to get back on the field and get a W before Baylor comes to Norman.

OU 38, Iowa State 27

Since 1932 we are 3-71 vs oklahoma.

But since 1990 the deficit in games played in ames has been 15,10,46,21,13,17,21

With that said.... Im predicting ISU gets its for single digit home loss to OU in years!!!!!

OU 35- ISU 31.

If we were matched up against a lesser opponent, say ISIS or Ebola, I'd confidently predict an ISU blowout victory.

But this is OU, Boomer Sooner, and that freakin visor.

OU 41, ISU 27

They lost at home to KSU by 1 and we lost at home by 4, a difference of 3. They won at home vs. Texas by 5 and we lost at Texas by 3. If you figure the standard 4 points for home field, they won by 1 and we won by 1, so the Texas games are a wash. The total difference of 3, divided by 2 is 1.5 for KSU. Since we're at home, the 4 point advantage should give us a 2-3 point win.

Now, if you take combine those 4 scores and factor in the home/road factor, you will get an ISU win of 35-32.75, so I'll say 35-33 in favor of the good guys.

If that is the final score I will buy you whatever you want
