Just thought I'd share...

I blew out a tire on the interstate yesterday. That was fun! :arghh:70 mph, right front tire goes, car is shaking, speed rapidly decreasing, and I'm frantically trying to get over to the side of the road. I didn't crash or wet my pants! YAY me!!!

So I was in Brian's car. He was home with the kids. I called him, he loaded up all the kids and came to rescue me. Changed the tire on the 86th street off ramp, while it was 20 degrees yesterday, with cars speeding by us.

He did it and never complained once. About the tire or about what I had just bought at the Coach store at Jordan Creek.

Ooooh, nothing worse than getting busted with the goods while having a break-down.

Maybe they should have hidden compartments in cars for spouses, kind of like the Millenium Falcon did in Star Wars.

My spending affliction is guns. I have a highly developed method for sneaking new stuff into the collection, supposedly to keep the wife from finding out.

That is so nice of him! I couldn't change a tire if I needed to either. I hate that I couldn't. But, I have only done it once in drivers ed a long time ago.

Is Brian using this as an excuse to get a new car? :)

Not anymore. I just had to drop $900 on new tires for my old car, so I guess I get to keep it a while longer.

I did go look at an Infiniti G35 6MT, wow, that is a nice car.

Here you go Brian
