Cyclone Alley Flop was just mentioned with host saying that's funny and not outside how fans should interact with athletes on the court

Glad they see it for what it is. I've seen some commenters on a couple articles talking about how it was classless and disrespectful. I don't get that at all. It was simply making light of something that he readily admits he does. And in no way were we calling him negative things or using disrespectful terms.

Of course, most of these commenters replies then involved calling Iowa a bunch of corn fed bigots who have so little to do in their terrible state that they do this. So their opinions are completely irrelevant.

The Outside the Lines segment really hammered the Missouri "Antlers" group. I'd be embarrassed as an alum to watch this. I get that the students are just having fun, but as I get older, I just cringe at some of this stuff.

Anonymous internet article commenters are a lower form of life than anonymous message board posters.

Some guys on the espn article were trying to say it was racist.

Yeah, no kidding. It's not like we called him a "piece of crap." Fran thought it was good, as well as others. Let the students have a little fun. This was minimal compared to the eff McGary chant. It's not like Smart was offended and apparently didn't affect his FT shooting at all.

The whole country knows Smart flops. It was mentioned on national news outlets weeks ago. As already mentioned, nothing derogatory was said, there was no name calling, no attacks on his family, no taunting, nothing. It's no worse than the crowd chanting "air ball" every time a guy gets the ball after shooting one. The only shocking thing about it is that nobody else did it sooner as was also mentioned.

My only problem is that they didn't do more of it.
