I was surprised to see that Niang and Ejim took time out of their schedule to Skype with the Fairfield, IA Middle School this morning. Thanks Georges and Mel! My daughter goes to school there, I will have to ask her if she got to listen in when I see her tonight.

Georges Niang@GeorgesNiang20 4h Enjoyed talking to the students and teachers this morning from Fairfield,IA thank for having me @FMSTrojans @FHSTrojans @schenckmatt

I know this is a thing they do every year at Fairfield- one of the teachers sets these Skype discussions up and sends out the requests to schools all over the nation- Kentucky, Duke, Iowa, ISU etc. It gets kids to connect with some NCAA Basketball teams and interesting in their perspectives on success and anything else they want to talk about.

It's optional so I want to say Thank You to the guys for taking their time to do it.

It might help to get some more Cyclone fans around this part of the state too!

I could really see Niang going into teaching and coaching when he's done at ISU. It surprises me he's in a Business major.

BTW, that's freaking awesome. I really love our team. Fred seems to pull in a great collection of guys.

There are a few players on most of our opposing teams that I just can't stand. Maybe it's just because they are "our" guys and I can't see it, but I don't think we have jerks like Smart on our team.

He actually said on 1700 the Champ today he is in business marketing and wants to come up with his own product and then market that.

I would hate Niang if he wasn't on our team.

Nice of our guys to do this, and frankly Skype needed this positive publicity in the eyes of ISU fans.

Awesome I'm just up the road in the metropolitan area known as Brighton. Cyclone freak I've been a clone since I was around 17 and it sure seems there's a lot more cyclones in SE Iowa anymore what do you think? Really the area should be predominantly Iowa state fans considering how important agriculture is to the area and how much all the ISU extension offices help with agriculture in the area and 4H groups/ county fairs. You know AHF.
