Where do you guys think we will fall this week? I know there is only about an hour until they are released but I am still curious what everyone thinks. My prediction is we will be ranked 14th.

I expect KSU and Baylor to drop out, OU to climb a bit to maybe 22, and Texas to appear at 24.

Clones stay about the same.

I think we move up.

Beat a 4th ranked team (at home, yeah I know).

Texas and KU still winning, makes our losses seem not as bad.

Michigan still winning, makes our win seem that much better.

RPI is holding strong.

I think we claw back to #12/13. Shouldn't have dropped as drastically as we did after our losing 'hiccup' but all will be set right in the end.

UMass will drop below Iowa State and Michigan will rise above Iowa State so that leaves them right where they were at #16. I don't think they'll drop Iowa, Wisconsin or Nova down below Iowa State and the voters tend to be too lazy this time of year to really compare resumes of teams that all won during the week to see if they should be adjusted in order. I think ISU is better than the Louisville and Kentucky teams ranked ahead of them but I just think the voters are too lazy to change them.

Not sure if we move up--if we do I'm guessing no higher than 14. Baylor will drop out. KSU may or may not. Texas will move into Top 25, probably 20-22.

Gary Parrish wrote a piece about why he had Iowa at #19 and it made alot of sense to me. 0 wins against RPI Top 25 teams, and their "big win" over Ohio State doesn't look all that impressive anymore. There really is no justification for Iowa being ranked higher than us.

Absolutely agree 100%. B1g is not close to the big12 this year. Mich/state are good teams (and we've beat one of them). Is there any other team that you would be scared of in that conference?

Oh yeah, and there's that little fact of beating the hawks

If you want a good laugh, take a look at Ohio State's resume and their joke of a non-conference slate.

I typically agree with Gary's breakdowns like this. He relies pretty heavily on RPI and his own 25+1 but he's usually right when it comes to a teams wins or lack of good wins.

Not true. They are very close by all unbiased metrics.
