Matt Thomas is starting to really hurt this team. Does a lot of things right, but knock down a shot for once will ya please.

Game stunk, but I was impressed with how the team did fight back at the end. If they hit a couple 3s they win the game. Just had way too many TOs to win. Also, got to make the FTs, if you want to win.
Probably a little too late for that now. Getting your first meaningful action in Big 12 play is a little harder than in the non-conference.
We played poorly in the 2nd half. This was almost entirely the result of officiating - the way the game was called gave Texas confidence and frustrated our guys. We lost composure and turned the ball over much more than usual. Texas shot lights out for 3-4 minutes and got a lead. Our guys got mauled out there and got nothing called our way until Texas had a comfortable lead. Hard to win outnumbered 8-5. Not saying we played well, because we didn't. It was external factors that caused the entire situation to be changed and led to the loss.
God, I hate Texas. Also, Big 12 refs and KU. Probably my top 3 right there. Hawks are annoying, those 3 are criminal.

I predict we make the NCAA's as a bubble team and play the eventual national champion in the second round.
The well coached eventual national champion will know the same blueprint that is evident to everyone to beat this team......chuck up shots and be prepared for the offensive rebounds as that will be money. Don't worry about fouls because ISU will become passive....ISU will not substitute and will not create fouls in the paint against your bigs. It will work it self out as it has these last three games.

Agree officiating was Texa$ all the way. All those ******** offensive fouls in the first half hurt us bad.
Thomas needs to put himself in better position to catch and shoot. When he has that timing, he usually hits it. All too often he is catching it, takes a step, then shoots.
He did not start and he was not on the floor when Texas went on the run from about 10 minutes left to 5 minutes left. It would help if any of our non-big four stepped up, not just Thomas.
Also, that announcing team was terrible. Just horrible. If you can do that and work Big 12 games, sign me up right now because I will own them!
We were up by 9 at one point and our guys aren't dominant enough to maintain a lead like that in Big 12 play. I thought our comebacks this season showed that the team had a lot of toughness to them, but I guess it was mostly because of our competition. We'll make the dance, but 3rd place finish in the Big 12 is about as good as we can hope for if we play like this the remainder of the season
Paul Jannsen should be allowed no where near an ISU basketball game. He's been making horrible calls for years!
I hate to blame the officials but some of those calls really killed us. That dunk putback by Ejim where he was called for over the back was ridiculous and absolutely took the momentum away from us.
I agree... it almost seems ridiculous considering how early it happened but I would consider that to be a pivotal game changing call... had some real snowball effect from that....
Not a big deal, but it was probably the most blatant bias I have listened to. The PBP guy was horrible. He sounded like someone they picked up out of a bar at a UT watch party.
