What does it take to get into the parquet seating sections? I know looking at the Cyclone Club donation level that the requirements are $2,500 for donation level, but is that all it takes? Since the lower bowl sold out, I'mt wondering how many cyclone club members at that donor level have seats that are up in the balcony because there were no seats available.

Asking because I got back to central Iowa a year ago for a job change that is making me consider bumping my donation, but I already like my 2nd row balcony seat so I don't want to jack up my donation that far if I'm just going to slide over a section or 2. If that's all that happens I'll just bump it the usual 10%.

Anyone at that donor level have issues getting seats in the parquet? If you didn't how long have you been holding football/bball tix for priority points?

Probably have to quadruple that donation to even get noticed. Had a friend at the 10k level that got bumped out of his seats about ten rows up in the parquet. And he was a former ISU Dean!

Did he not renew in time or what? I thought once you had seats they were yours unless you passed on renewing.

They are, barring some really wild situation.
But there wouldn't be a surge in that donation level large enough to bump someone.

Now, if he requested additional seats and stated that they all had to be together, I guess that's a possible bump, since all those spots are filled.

That was my understanding as well. If you have the seats assigned they are yours so long as you renew them timely, and your donation does not drop below that sections required level AND is received timely.

I don't think this is true. Had a friend move down to parquet a couple years ago with the minimum donation. He's in the corner but still parquet. Only two seats. Maybe that's the difference.

It would be interesting to see, next year it may be harder as compared to a couple years ago. My Dad could have seats in the 111, 112, 132, 133 area based on donation level alone, but first got season MBB a couple years ago when they had the $99 tickets. I think they actually like their balcony location, not sure what he will do next year. Had talked about bumping up to 4 tickets from 2. He has had season football, WBB, and wrestling tickets for almost 20 years now. He sits court side for WBB.

Ya I think this is right. I have a family friend who has 4 tixs in the 4th row opposite our bench and has never been told he needs to bump his donation. That being said I don't know what he donates but has had the seats for 25 years in the same spot. It's sweet when he invites me and my wife to game!
