With preseason games about to start, I just wanted to know what everyone's predictions were for 2008 divisional winners. Also picks for Cy Young and MVP.

My picks:
AL West- Seattle
AL Central- Cleveland
AL East- New York
Wild Card- Boston
MVP- An A-bomb for A-rod
Cy- Bedard
NL West- San Diego
NL Central- Chicago
NL East- New York
Wild Card- Arizona
MVP- ???
Cy- "CY" Chris Young

I wish I could say Cardinals, but I am not going to.
AL West-Angels
Al Central-Cleveland
AL east-Boston
Wild Card-Seattle
MVP-Vlad
Cy-Bedard/Beckett
NL West-Arizona
NL Central-Milwaukee
NL East-New York
Wild Card-Philadelphia
Mvp-Howard/Pujols/ Prince Fielder
Cy- Dan Haren

The NL MVP is probably going to be Pujols again, but being a Cub fan I'll say Soriano goes crazy this year.

No love for the defending NL champs, huh? I think the NL West is the toughest division in baseball from top to bottom (save for maybe the San Francisco Giants). I think it'll be close to a four-team race for the division title, with the wild card also coming from that division. My predictions:

AL West -- Angels
AL Central -- Indians
AL East -- Red Sox
Wild Card -- Tigers

NL West -- Rockies
NL Central -- Cubs
NL East -- Mets
Wild Card -- Diamondbacks

I'm not sold on the Yankees yet, especially without Torre. Maybe Girardi is the real deal, but I'm reserving judgment.

My Cards always make a comeback when no one expects them to. They go all the way with a MVP performance by Pujols! Yes, a big time Cardinals homer, pun intended.

I predict the Brewers will do what the Clones normally do... hang in until the very end, maybe even with the lead, and then hand it away. :skeptical::chatterbox:

I'm a big Cardinals fan, but this year, there is no way we will win the World Series, unless our whole team drastically improves in spring training.

AL West -- Angels
AL Central -- Twins
AL East -- Yankees
Wild Card -- Red Sox

NL West -- Padres
NL Central -- Cubs
NL East -- Mets
Wild Card -- Diamondbacks

CHAMPION -- TWINS!

The Cubs barely lose after a large lead during the season.
The Cards find some pitching.
The Yankees pitchers wilt without HGH.
KC sells some more players.
Philly hits lots of homeruns.
Tokyo wants to have a team.
Finally more Caribean players than any other group.
Barry Bonds plays for the Texas Rangers who have no star power.
Boston wins the series again.
Ex Yankee manager does well in LA.
Steinbrenner has a come to Jesus meeting on 4th of Jul.
Jose Canseco and Sammy Sosa land jobs.

AL West -- Angels
AL Central -- Tigers
AL East -- Red Sox
Wild Card -- Blue Jays
MVP -- Big Papi
Cy -- Roy Halladay

NL West -- Rockies
NL Central -- Brewers
NL East -- Mets
Wild Card -- Diamondbacks
MVP -- Prince
Cy -- Peavy

A lot of Indians calls here - I'm surprised. They're a good team, but with the way the Tigers stocked up in the offseason, it's going to be tough to compete there.

AL West- Angels
AL Central- Tigers
AL East- Boston
Wild Card- NY

NL West- San Diego
NL Central- Houston / or Milwaukee / or Chicago - that whole division is one injury away from being upside down
NL East- New York
Wild Card- Atlanta
