My husband got these, too. I didn't think anything could possibly taste that waxy and artificial.

I think part of it is I expect the texture of Starburst to accompany the taste, and the chalk of candy corn just doesn't do it. The other part is that they taste turrible

I'm a fan of Brach's caramel apple... can devour that stuff by the bagful. That might be my second favorite seasonal candy (#1 belonging to Robin Eggs at Easter).

Regular candy corn I rank as good but not great. Until you mix in peanuts.

Brand is also somewhat critical when it comes to candy corn, IMO... Brachs being far superior to anything else.
