I see where LB Greg Gooch (Lyman High School, Longwood, Florida) is visiting Wisconsin that same weekend (Nov. 9th). I get the impression that it may be down to Wisconsin and Iowa State for Gooch's final two. I saw him during his official visit to Ames for the Texas game. He is every bit of 6'2" and 240 lbs.

I'm pretty sure he said he wants to commit to ISU but wants to visit first. He looks impressive in his game film.
Gooch's Hudl video link is below. Excellent blitzer. Played quite a bit on the edge of the D in addition to the Middle LB'er. Has a fair amount of highlights where he drops in coverage and cuts off routes pretty well. Overall, the video is pretty exciting and he is a presence on the field.

Saw somewhere that ISU backed off of him...right before Anderson committed. I'm guessing that they saw Wisky sniffing around and pulled the offer. Benz took the Cuse offer and waited for Wisky to come through. Not a bad job by the staff here. They had this kid scouted way early. Tried for the commit all summer. But cut bait when Wisky came in. You're rarely going to beat Wisky for an in-state kid...similar to Nebraska...the only schools that do that are the BIG dogs.
OK, I'd say that there are 5-6 spots left. I'd love to finish with Gooch, Campbell, Clinkscales, McDaniel, Camrron Bean and Cotton. But I think that we're more likely to end up with Solt, Campbell, Dejon Brown, McDaniel and Tarrow Barney.
I'd start him out at DE. If he keeps getting bigger, then move him inside to DT.
The second DL we've gone head-to-head to Bama with. Pretty telling how bad the staff wants/needs talented DL. It'll be interesting to see if w can get one our even both to commit. Both makes the DL outstanding next season.
Rhoads said in the call in show they want 3 DL recruits for this class. We got 0 so far.
