Ross Pierschbacher offer from Alabama

“I’m hoping nothing goes bad with Iowa’s season,” he said. “If something does, or if everything doesn’t fall their way… there’s always a possibility there.”

Per twitter feed:
Ross Pierschbacher@RossP715hJust talked to Coach Saban, they have offered me a full ride to play football for the Crimson Tide! #RollTide

I would say the hawks could be in trouble. Saying he hopes nothing goes wrong with Iowa this season is not good. Saban is a master recruiter and usually get's his guy. Just hoping saban does not come after Lazard

Watch the Squawkeyes lose the kid because their dip-headed fans ripped him on twitter for getting an OFFER from Saban. I don't think they understand that they should take that as an incredibly high compliment that this kid got an offer from Bama and he's still a commit

Allen Lazard said he would look forward to hearing from Nick Saban too - it was on the WHO-TV story with Murphy and Sears.

It was from a month ago but I hadn't heard about it and it seems like most other people here "had their heads burried in the sand" too...

That quote makes it sound like he's already preparing his excuses for when he decommits. If I was an Iowa fan I'd already be looking at possible replacements.

I know its not the same but Lazard has stated things like "If something were to happen..." basically the way Ross is. I hope both of these studs stay committed to their in-state schools, but this is eerily similar to the Lazard situation IMO. The way they both say their committed UNLESS blah, blah.

If they truly are committed, there would be no need for the unless part. Don't get me wrong, I am strong on Lazard (and Ross for that matter) staying, but wont be overly surprised if either of these guys end up elsewhere.

if Lazard said something similar to what Ross said in that article I would be pretty worried...luckily he hasn't
