Heard that on the scanner last night. Friends and I left for Welch shortly after that. Started raining....nothing going on down there.

Yeah that **** never happens when I'm down there. I was on Welch from 10-1 and it was pretty quiet except by the bars. Nothing like Tuesday night.

Probably public intox, as chances are most that would be doing that on welch at night are pretty drunk.

Of course public intox laws could really use some reining in.

See! Apparently they'll bust people just for being happy now. What has this world come to...

On a somewhat related note, I heard a party at an apartment get busted somewhat early last night. The cop came over the radio & said he issued BOTH residents nuisance tickets (think they were nuisance anyway) AND he issued PAULA'S to 3 other guys (all with no drinking crimes on their records).

Whatever happened to telling people to quiet down / go home??
