***Official 2013 Bracketology Thread***

The losses by Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia and assuming Ole Miss are not good based on the fact that UMASS, Maryland, and Alabama have won tonight.

What a crazy, crazy day. Iowa is hands down one of the best 68 teams in College Ball. But tourney doesn't work like that and to the NIT they go..

Just saw a CBS headline that our good work may have been undone with loss to ku. Man they hate us.

CBS is pure *********. We are in. We are better than all the teams on the bubble. The headline should have read, "CBS postion as a trustworthy news source on men's basketball possibly undone by ******** analysts like Jerry Palm."

do tell us, who else has us out?

Lots of teams below us lost today. Who exactly jumped ahead of us today?

Nobody has us out anymore, Jeff borzello and gary Parrish usually seem to have less than great things to say about us.

I am going to keep telling myself that until they come up with someone better than us, then I am not going ot worry. That should help for 3 hours.

Pretty much whatever seed ISU was at the beginning of the day, it should be the same now.

correct. ISU's RPI only went down 1 spot (40 to 41) plus teams in similar spots lost (Temple, Illinois,Kentucky, LaSalle, Tennessee).

The theme of the night was that lots of teams barely in the field lost, and some teams outside won (Maryland, UMASS, S Miss, Ole Miss)

Should be an exciting selection sunday as the end of the bubble got a lot tighter after today's games.

For ISU, seems pretty simple to predict at this point. Best case senario a 10 seed (most predictions have us at a 10 right now) and a worst case senario is an 11 seed. Just can't see ISU jumping to a 9 for some reason, nor do I think anybody cares if ISU gets in the 8/9 game.
