Breaking: Casey Pachall arrested overnight for DWI

Sorry if this is already been posted, but according to David Ubben on Twitter, Gary Patterson is going to make Pachall dress and watch the game from the sidelines on Saturday, "win, lose, or draw."

So really we need to kick their *** to help him get the point. :)

Yeah, we will see if he stays on the sideline the entire game...

I can hear the postgame. "We thought we needed to put Casey in, because you know, we are a Christian University, and we believe in redemption." "No, of course it had nothing to do with the fact that we were down 10 in the 4th Quarter"

Drunk on the Wednesday night before their mid-season, inaugural Big XII home opener... sounds like a bit of an alcohol problem to me. Not that I think their is anything wrong with Wet-you-whistle-Wednesdays, but when you're the starting QB for a DI institution... priorities man.

Maybe I'm slightly lenient but I guess I don't have a problem with the going out and drinking in itself. Obviously getting a DUi is a different story and if affects class attendance like it did me, it needs to be fixed.

I'm not a drinker, but I don't have a problem with players going out like regular people, either. The DWI, that's a problem, but we agree on that.

Looks as though this guy has a problem. I'm glad that nobody was hurt, and he'll get some help (presumably).

What's up the recent crop of high D-1 Texas QBs all being ugly. This is really changing the paradigm of the good lookin, southern drawlin, heavy drinkin QB. Mox! Where are you?

I'm....not sure I can look at you the same way ever again, Eric...high on my list of 'sit and have a beer with' posters.

Wait, did this get weird?

CASEY PACHALL'S A BIG DUMMY HEAD, WHARRLGAARBL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never did I say that I expected a BCS bowl. My expectation, which should be the expectation of any loyal son forever true, is that the team will keep trying to get to one. For stating that, melt jumped me. You're both full of [Craig James] on this one.

That we can agree on, the team should keep trying to get one.

Perhaps the difference between your opinion and Melt's is what the meaning of "competing for" is. In my estimation you can be trying to get somewhere but realistically not be competing for it at this point. After Saturday's game, I have a hard time saying this team is realistically competing for the National Championship or a BCS bowl game. The point remains that you told him something like "think again before posting something so stupid". That is jumping him. I'm pretty sure that he jumped you back more for your inflamatory remark directed at him then for a difference of perspective on what it means to compete for a National Championship or a BCS bowl game.

I'll let it go beyond that so we don't highjack the thread further.
