another southwest ia. player?

I do Friday night radio work in southwest Iowa and was able to personally watch Clayton Wilson last week. Great frame! Program stated he was 6'3 220lbs. He ran that night for about 260 yards. Tonight, he only played offense for the first half and had 185 yards on the ground with 7 touchdowns.
He doesn't have the speed as Meyer but he plays mean at all times. I watched him knock the snot out of running backs last week. I could see him turning into a defensive end at the next level. The only downsize is that he needs better competition.

Hard to evaluate athlete's that play at the smaller levels. No doubt he has the essentials and performs very well against the competition presented. But go to a 3A or 4A game and those physical numbers are on every roster, multiple times. The only way to truly evaluate good athletes from the smaller schools is at summer camps put on by D-1's and it very well could happen for him, but putting up big stats at a lower level doesn't mean a whole lot during the regular season. If done in the Dome in the play-offs where the competition gets tougher, would be to his benefit.

That is officially reserved for Sioux County

Have to disagree. And I hate to make this a referendum on counties, but Story County is God's Country. And He put a pretty decent football team there to boot.
