I am sort of a baseball nub but who would be the most hated person/thing for a Twins fan? Something like Chizik for us or Haluska transfering? Anybody got a good one for me?

Though it's been a while.....Chuck Knoblauch ranks pretty high.

I'm not among the group of haters, but AJ Pierzynski seems to be heavily despised by most Twins fans. He is too mouthy, but he personally had nothing to do with his trade to the Giants and subsequent trade to the White Sox.

Maybe Hawk Harrelson, but I think everybody hates him.

Pierzynski is the first one to come to mind, but he's not on the same level as Chizik. Twins players generally leave on good terms. The fans realize that in most cases we just don't have the money to keep them.

As a Twins fan, I would have to say that Bud Selig is who I hate the most regarding baseball... going back to when he put the Twins up for elimination by contraction, or potentially moving the team.

One of my buddies had an awesome t-shirt that said "Selig is not my bud!". I loved it.

I also hated how he just sat idly by while 'roids took over the sport.

As somebody who grew up with the Twins, but doesn't really follow them too closely these days, those would have been the three names I came up with. That being said, of the three only Knoblauch has had batteries chucked at him at the Metrodome.

Big Papi - ripped Twins coaches for messing with his swing while in Minnesota (which probably has some truth to it) and then gets caught as a steroid user. I'm sure those didn't help at all.

Probably Knoblauch, A.J. Pierzynski, or most recently, Bill Smith (former general manager).

Oh, and for a long time, Carl Pohlad...especially around 2001-2002 when he was ready to move the team to the Carolinas (or contract them altogether). He was always a penny-pincher with payroll, too.

You'll have to share him with just about every other team. Bud sucks!

I've been pretty happy with everyone, but I'm only 21 so I haven't been around the team as long as some of you. AJ would be my pick for sure. I'm just bummed when players leave like Cuddy, Hunter, and Kubel, to name a few.

The Metrodome. It contributed to a couple of World Series Championships, but that place was a sandbox. It smelled like hotdogs. Glad to see it go.

Anyone associated with the Yankees just because of what they have done to the Twins in the playoffs in the past decade

I think long term, it would have to be Carl Pohlad, who failed to spend money to keep many players that he should have kept. Before him, Clark Griffith was not too loved either, for pretty much the same reason.

Player wise, definitely Chuck. I think AJ was like when he played for the Twins, and was not really hated until he got traded to the White Sox.
