Chicago People I Need Your Help.

I'm proposing to my girlfriend in Chicago in the second weekend of August and I'm in need of a good restaurant to go out to dinner (I might propose then or later at a park haven't decided, but probably at dinner). So I'm looking for something romantic where she can dress up. Afterwards I was thinking about going to celebrate at nice bar or something. I'm not looking for $100 dollar plates or anything, but something pretty nice and maybe low lit (cuz I'm ugly :jimlad:).

Thanks for the help in advance.

1. We all would recognize CyBers girlfriend by her real name, Sarah Hoke.
2. If she happens to be stupid and say no, take her to Munger Road - google it, it's a real place and pretty creepy.
3. There's a nice place called Pink Monkey. A buddies former high school wrestling coach runs the place and I've heard great reviews from the internet.

I don't date Kentucky fan's, however she did use to be a hawkeye fan and I changed her and now she hates the hawkeyes. I blame her uneducated parents for bringing her up wrong.

I also don't think she want's to go to a strip club so thanks but no thanks ISUCubs.

Well once the unoriginal trolls get it out of their system i'll be looking for some good suggestions.

Thanks to those who have good suggestions.

Maybe the signature Room at the top of the Hancock Building.

I was going to mention this as well. If you're not dead set at proposing at dinner another idea might be the Ferris wheel at Navy Pier at night once it reaches the top of its rotation during nighttime.

I'm really not dead set on anything yet, just thought dinner might be the most romantic at night with all the views.

My two cents, I wouldn't do it at dinner. Only because you'll probably want to go back and visit the location sometime and restaurants are pretty likely to close or change. In terms of dinner, pick out her favorite type of food and try to find the best Chicago has to offer wether it is relatively inexpensive or is a little pricey. But don't feel like you need to go to some traditional fancy place, wherever she would be most comfortable is best.

I was either going to do it at dinner or maybe by the bean or something.
