If I were them, I'd feel like we let a sure win slip away, just like we felt @ Kansas.
I sure don't mind seeing another fanbase complaining after a loss. If they lose, it usually means that we won. I don't care how much they complain when we win.

First off the charge that fouled out the one kid. Ejim fell into the no charge zone. He was not in the zone.

There was one worse than that near the end of the game. One of them basically grabbed Royce by the arm and threw him down.

I remember with only a few minutes left that RW was dribbling out high, the lane cleared a bit, RW took off and received a stiff arm from his defender so hard that it stopped him and stood him up. It was right to his chest, nothing called. It was a game that they let them play, KSU style.
What bothers KSU fans is that they played their style and another team took it to them. Their style and tempo, but they still got beat so now they are looking for something.
In a couple years they won't complain anymore because fred will have this team back to where it belongs and its hard to complain about 20 point losses.

I didn't read this whole thread, but if you look at the game thread for 3/4 the game it is one big gripe fest about how KSU can't miss and the refs suck.
Had we lost, I imagine the amount of venom on this board would be 10 fold that coming from KSUck.

I was impressed with Royce last night. Not because he scored a bunch, not because of his rebounds, and not because of his assists. I was impressed with Royce because he never lost his composure when K-State players were roughing him up. He didn't commit stupid fouls in anger, he didn't talk a bunch of junk, etc... It seemed like the more physical (cheap shots) they got with him the more determined he was to make them pay. I can't remember a game in which Royce drove to the basket with as much purpose as he did last night. He had 3 or 4 times when he drove the lane and threw down some monster dunks. I think the lesson learned is that absolutely under no circumstances should a team try to rough up Royce White unless they want to see him go into Beast Mode. :yes:
Really did keep his composure and didn't get any silly fouls, I don't think I would have kept my cool with that battering.
I don't think DÃ*az was called for any moving screens. I counted 5 in one series in the 2nd half. Lots of close calls/non calls. and the foul discrepency was only 5.
A classic Hilton Magic moment.... the 3 second call on K-State. The crowd absolutely made the difference in getting that call. :yes:
Is it me or did he imply that only "inferior" players are on the losing end of foul calls with the refs... in other words, he is used to getting the upper hand on calls and in one instance it didn't happen to his surprise.
55 extended his arm on our defender every time he touched the ball. Chris Allen must have been confused.
As my coworker just stated simply after reading Frank's quote.... "That K-State player looked inferior because he was Babb's ***** all night."

What a bunch of KSU whiners. They play Rucker Park basketball, and then complain that they don't get enough fouls called on the other team. Martin mentions that they get to the line the most of any team in the Big 12 (which is true) but fails to mention that they tie for third in the number of fouls they commit. Also fails to mention that ISU is making more free throws than their opponents attempt this year in all games, and it is nearly true in conference games too. So, that tells me that this is nothing new for ISU, and that maybe ISU just does not foul very much, or they use their fouls wisely and don't get the other team into bonus situations as often.
Lost a little respect for Martin with this kind of whining. Officiating was not great last night, but it was pretty weak for both teams. The main call he complained about was the no-call on McGruder's last shot. Watching it several times on tv......I could not see that an ISU play actually hit his arm as claimed, but the camera angle was not the greatest either.
I think Martin just lost control at the end. You had 1.8 seconds left, yet he did not call a timeout to set anything up. Is that ISU's fault too?

He didn't have any timeouts left, but yea I lost a lot of respect for the guy too. What coach complains about refs? Not Freddy, that's for sure.
