First bye of season we came out and puked all over ourselves vs Texas. I am not predicting a score at the end of the game. But, will we at least play with intensity, be smart, and execute vs Okie St.

I hope that the bye week focus and preparation can produce better results than what has occurred in the recent past. The record for the past 10 games following byes is 4 wins and 6 losses. It looks like that the program has another historical trend that needs to be changed.

Historically . . ISU NEVEEEEEEEEEEEER plays well after a bye week. Never.

Texas is good, but ISU came out flat. I don't think CPR will let that happen twice in a season........especially after watching OSU's defense on saturday night. ISU should be pumped up, a few turnovers and you never know.

And only 0-1 following a bye under Rhoads. History has little bearing on this stat right now. Different staff, different players.

Maybe I-State should take the whole team to Lubbock to sit together and watch the OSU-Tech game.

With the discipline problem a few of the guys on the team have, I think this would be a horrible idea. Someone would end up being suspended for our game with OSU.

This is because of that one Steele Jantz guy. Barnett has it under control

Iowa State has been 5-4 under Rhoads and failed to make a bowl game with many of these same players. This team has come into a bye week with momentum and lost it after their break. I think this team understands where it is and some of the potential pitfalls in front of them. The real question is if they will respond the right way and come out swinging against the Cowboys. If so, ESPN could have a heck of a show next Friday night.
