Hp Touchpad Firesale

I ordered Thursday night from Onsale and received confirmation, just checked and still shows not yet shipped - fingers crossed...

For those that have 1
1) Does Clonezone work on the Touchpad?
2) How about Itunes through HP Play? Can I see digital movies that are in Itunes but not purchased from Itunes?
3) What else do you like to use it for?

did you select overnight shipping? I did and just received mine today!
tracking info never worked so I was skeptical, but it arrived

They are making progress. Basically every functional part of the touchpad had to have new coding to make them operational. It's going to take time. I haven't checked to see what new progress has been made but I know they got the multitouch sensors working a few weeks ago.

Here's the forum for updates:

HP Touchpad

I don't think rootzwiki is the place where the Android on TP is happening right now. There were 2 developments going on and one quit. The other is CM7 which is making good progress (cyanogenmod.com) and there are some vids on youtube demoing CM7 stuff. The other site to check for TP stuff is precentral.net they have very good forums. There is also webos-internals.org.

I have installed the uber-kernel and am running at 1.5. Haven't played with the TP too much yet because I haven't had it too long but the TP is definitely nice; too bad HP screwed the situation up so badly.

I went ahead and replaced the order (originally ordered through Amazon). Hopefully we will receive it this time.

Is there any update on the progress of being able to make this an Android tablet in the near future?

Received mine yesterday. Working good.

Got mine yesterday as well and the wife was very pleased when it arrived... Enjoying it for now just exploring, but definitely looking forward to the potential of porting it over to Android in the future.

I've had mine for two days, and after some router configuration, I am able to stream hulu and netflix to it via playon, which I had for my ps3.

Still a good drop from their original pricing, but yes with the demand that is there why not price them a bit higher to rake in some extra why they can.

posting from the touchpad best 150 ever spent but apparently they sold out at the higher price
has anyone ordered the charging dock

after having it for about 24 hours, I love it. Helps me out tremendously at school. I hated carrying my laptop around. With this I have access to all the articles I need to read, any website I need to access and any media I want. It's great

got a e-mail from HP today

So looks like hp.com won't be selling anymore. I was hoping to order more online when they came available. But I can just imagine stores making them instore only offers to get people into the stores.
