Seneca Wallace Heisman Promo Video

Wow. That brought back some great memories. A few comments

Seneca was incredible at throwing on the move, especially against the body.
He was greasy fast!
They had an incorrect stat on there.... Wallace actually had 2 rushing TD's against FSU.

What an incredible encapsulation of one half of a season. It just absolutely breaks my heart to know that we went from #9 in the country, at 6-1, with all this Heisman hype... and then Oklahoma happened, and our team didn't recover for 2 years.

Sadly, this is true. We never recovered.

I agree Oklahoma was a concrete wall but more importantly the disaster was offensive line coach Marty Fine, clearly Macs worst recruit.

Most exciting football player to ever put on a pair of cleats in the state of Iowa IMO.

It would be debatable if he was the best ever in the state because Chuck Long might have something to say about that, but he was WAY more exciting than Chuck Long... that is not debatable.

Some might say Tim Dwight or Troy Davis, but they just didn't touch the ball enough IMO.

Seneca Wallace took ISU all the way up to 9th in the country, basically by himself. That's not an easy task folks. The guy was amazing.

I thought the exact same thing. After Oklahoma showed everyone how to defend us, it was over.

I loved watching him play. But his TD-int ratio leaves a bad taste in my mouth, as well as the collapse of the team that happened as well.

I wonder how many people would complain about his career completion percentage since that was one of the bigger reasons to hate on AA.
