Speculation that Osama Bin Laden killed

I think it is odd that it is against the geneva convention to assassinate someone, but it isn't against the rules to bomb the hell out of them until they are dead.

Don't know that it is against the Geneva Convention, but it is against US law. Don't care, I'll make an exception for this.

Credit to George W. Bush.

Took all of 5 minutes for this huge achievement to be politicized.

Major props to all of our soldiers in the Middle East, both now and over the past 10 years, who have worked tirelessly for this achievement.

Credit to them.

They don't need an occasion to attack.

That and its not like their major attacks were impromptu strikes. They involved some serious planning and funding to get it done. It may not be too terribly easy for them to launch an operation like that right now.

Id be interested in hearing what our intel thinks of the overall capablilty of the AQ network at this point and their capability to launch such an attack today.

I suppose I don't know that either, but that is what one of my buddies who is more learn-ed in these things said once. I am also willing to make an exception. Just always wanted to point that out.

Also, I am highly proud to say that I learned about this information on cyclonefanatic. A TRUE american website.

He still managed to avoid capture for almost an entire decade after 9/11, and that is quite a feat. Even with that, Clinton had a chance to take him out before 9/11 but his advisers didn't trust the intelligence they were receiving.

I kind of wish we had captured him alive.
