That comparison isn't even close. AA atleast gave us something, we have no reason to assume DG will ever step up and be a leader on this team.

Actually it's that both aren't very good, but we're even worse, so we have to rely on them to be our stars.

DG=AA, neither would ever have been successful unless they lead us to a NC. It really doesn't matter what they do.

That is a terrible comparison...AA was a leader who played his *** off for the Cyclones every week and was actually a solid player...DG is just plain terrible, I can't stand watching him play and he has not improved at all in 4 years.

No matter what you do in the game of basketball, if you shoot poorly you will not win. We are shooting poorly.

This is true, but you can do things to increase your percentage. Such as getting the ball in the paint, which we have not done outside of transition yet. Our problem is that we need a strong post player, and we don't have one.

I think my favorite comment was where the old Iowa player said that Iowa would go up against teams in the Big 10 with 3,4, and 5 good post players. Seriously? 5?

If not for that last little run, I would have called the first half somewhat a success to be close. I'm still not giving up. I know our team won't.

They just replayed that tip dunk play.....holy crap, what a horrible no-call on that travel. Wow.

I can't believe how many calls they missed in that half. 2 or 3 blatant goaltending calls were missed. Tons of moving screens could/should have been called.

That said, we didn't play well at all. DG needs to do something right in the 2nd half or we are going to get blown out.
