Let's go Cyclones... apparently it's a tough place to play now, but that shouldn't have any effect on us. Go 'Clones!!!

I woke up with this strange hunch...i think Jordan Railey plays a big role in the Cyclone game tonight.

I'm just hoping that EIU's game with UNI was something of a fluke. Perhaps UNI had a terribly off game, and Iowa played their butts off. I don't know... Iowa did play hard on defense as I recall, should be a fairly descent game tonight.

Take it to um Clones! Its Iowa dominated over here and i would love nothing more than to shove a nice win into some disgruntled Iowa faces.

I had Irish Coffee for breakfast. Will be quite festive in the library, I mean Carver, tonight.

Uni missed 40 of their 55 FG attempts. I'd call that on "off game". I couldn't stand to watch the entire game, but when I was flipping back-and-forth, I saw UNI missing a lot of good looks.

So if ISU loses will you have a disgruntled ISU face? I do think the Iowa team you saw against UNI was not a fluke. FM dos like to play fast paced offense but he also coaches a pretty good D.

For the sake of the Iowa fanbase, you had better hope that entire game was a fluke. I don't think Iowa fans have the patience to slog through another season scoring 50 points a game. If this is what the fans wan, then booting The Lick was a horrible move.

You were flipping back and forth, I was there. UNI did not have a lot of uncontested shots. Iowa played a very good D and in the second half switched looks every UNI possession. To say it was just an "off game" on UNI's part is not giving the Iowa D near enough credit.

I'm okay with this.

If you have watched any of the Iowa games this year, you know this was not the kind of game FM prefers. UNI forced their style on Iowa but Iowa beat them at their own game. We prefer to get up and down pretty quickly. The game was not a fluke at all but it shows FM can coach D also.

Weird I do too. A few of his 15 foot, line-drive jumpers are going to go off the front iron, right to Jake who will lay them in for a few key buckets.

In all seriousness, I live in Iowa City and have a final tommorow morning and am really debating on whether to go. Part of me figures I'll watch the game anyway, so I might as well be there.

I know this isn't what he prefers, but so far that "run & gun" style has been nothing but a turnover and bad shot machine. Not exactly going as planned. Fran would be wise to reel his boys in, and maybe they can grind out some close games. If your precious Hawks don't learn to take care of he rock soon, it is going to be one brutal season, making the dilusional Hawk fanbase yearn for the years when they got to 10 wins.

Let's try to get Cole to foul earl on. Could neaturalize the whole game.
