I am looking to try a new site for our Fantasy Football League this year. I was curious on thoughts for the best deals out there.

Things that are important to us include:
  • Available online draft
  • Customizable scoring - the more options the better
  • Cheap price
Let me know what you think.

Yahoo. Free. Customizable. Nice mobile site.

I searched a lot a few years ago trying to find the same thing even just for myself. Not only with customization, but just user interface and feasibility.

Yahoo is good, free, and works well. But another that I found that I really liked was this... MyFantasyLeague.com. Maybe one of the best ones I've found around.

Yeah, we've been going with the Yahoo site for about 5 or 6 years now. Plus last year they started throwing in StatTracker for free which is a nice little feature. I also used their mock drafts a lot which surprisingly helped me a lot more than I estimated when it came to the real draft.

We used yahoo's online draft last year. As long as you can line up a time all the guys can be there, it works great. The fastest draft i've been too. It gives you the option to have a timer. I think ours was set to 1 minute or a minute and a half, but it just seemed to fly because there was no time in between. Once someone picked the next person was on the clock. Had to be on your toes with ideas for you next pick at all times, but iirc one hour and we were done with a 12 team draft. Works great for leagues after college when you don't live close anymore.

There really is no reason go anywhere but yahoo. They have multiple analysists.

Other sites that are good or NFL.com has a good fantasy department itself. Fanball.com is also good.

we've had good luck with Fanball.com for yeaRS

I'm using fanball.com for the first time this year for fantasy baseball. I have to say.. it SUCKS. You have to pay for it and it doesn't have NEAR the features that Yahoo.com does. I won't ever be in another league that is through fanball.

Thanks for the suggestions.
I have looked into NFL.com, Yahoo, ESPN, and CBS Sports. It looks like NFL.com has more customization possibilities than Yahoo, so I am leaning in that direction.
I have a league set up in each, and will participate in a mock draft on NFL.com. If that goes smoothly, and the other guys like it, we will probably move there from myfantasyleague.com.
Thanks again for your input!

Have always liked NFL.com, that's where I went for my own personal team. Wasn't sure how setting up leagues worked though - free or not. Of course at the time, they offered live stat tracker where yahoo didn't.
