Iowa is 4-13 and ISU is 3-12.... thats pathetuic no matter how you slice it. And as a ISU fan I made fun of Iowa, and they have a better record (in conference) than we do

Who really cares about Iowa. Also the bottom of the Big 10 is absolutely awful we would have atleast 4 wins against teams like Indiana, Penn St.

just shows how much better our conf is this year. we are what 10th or 11th and they couldn't hold our jock strap until the very end of the game when they couldn't miss.

Who cares, we drilled them in December and would run circles around them still if we played now. The talent disparity in the Big 12 vs. the Big 10 is the only reason they've won 4 games.

I think we would have a better record if we were in the Big 10, but that's a pointless argument. I haven't watched a hawk game since we played them. It's enough watching one bad team for a whole season.

As hinted at by others, this logic doesn't apply as it's two different confernces and the teams are playing different schedules. The Big 12 is one of the best conferences in the nation this year (probably 2nd behind the Big East). Have Iowa play our Big 12 schedule and I would be willing to bet that they don't have a conference win. Maybe 1 as it seems even the worst team in each conference gets a surprise W.

I was hoping you were going to tell me something that was "Shaun White Double McTwist" sick, not a pitcher of beer and Hu Hot sick.

Irrelevant. Both programs are in the crapper right now. I would be more upset if Iowa was having a good year...but they aren't. Having one more conference win than us doesn't mean anything to me.

The talent disparity isn't as big as some of you'd like to believe.

Both teams suck right now. Trying to compare the conference records of the two teams is dumb because Iowa plays 18 games, and ISU plays 16. That's the only difference. Switch conferences, and Iowa probably has 3 wins (against CU and NU, that's it). ISU probably has 4 wins, 2 against IU, one over PSU, and maybe NU or Minnesota.

It's pretty sad the state of the two programs.

Bingo!

With the talent they have on that team, it's a miracle they beat anyone.

Northwestern is a pretty good team and they beat them.

We don't have a good win this year...or really, in Mac's entire tenure.

Wow... are you really going to go there?? Please tell me you're joking by simply comparing wins in different conferences. Have you seen Iowa play???

My daughter's High School team won 8 conference games...

Whats Sick?.....

When John Walters wants/hopes that McDermott gets another year!!!!

"Ames High with Harrison Barnes would beat Iowa State if they played right now".... quoting Marty er Martha Tyrrell
