Gadson is a beast....good get for ISU
I am disappointed for Knight. Defending champ that battled through injuries this year. I hope he rips up the consolation bracket to take 3rd.

Gadson is a beast....good get for ISU
ISU commits:
Gadsen won by fall in 27 seconds
Moreno won by fall in 4:17
Jones won by major decisioin 9-1
England won by fall in 1:52
Voelker won by fall in 2:17
My hometown is leading 2A right now. I'm not sure what kind of lead is too much for Huxley to take over, but I think they are getting close.
Pretty sure ISU has a great shot of snagging Moreno's younger brother too in a few years. Kid is only a soph. this season at Urbandale but was 37-0 at 140lbs heading into the tourney and has falls in his first 2 matches. 1:01 in the first match and 2:16 in the second. If I remember correctly he only lost 1 match as a freshman.
If you go undefeated at 140 as a sophomore you are the real deal.
I assume Riley won to set up a Gadson-Riley fiinal? Anybody know if they have met before?
Can someone post the schedule for Saturday?
Thanks in advance
any chance the championships will be broadcasted over the web for those not in iowa?
Looks like they have the Championships scheduled here:Without having looked myself, I don't know if the IHSAA website does or not. I am thinking, though, that they have for other champ nights recently.
I'm just wondering, but is the Well really a good venue for this tournament? Maybe it's just the nostalgia of finding your way down from the balcony to the floor level and running all over hell's half acre to find the mat to watch your wrestlers and then yelling down there, but it seems like it would be a ***** to do that at the Well.
EDIT: This is knowing full well that it's bigger, newer, and in general "nicer." I just don't think it would be as fun as a spectator as Vets.
Denver/Tripoli will give Ballard all they can handle in 2A. There's lots of star power on those two teams and there will be some head to heads between them that could decide it. I don't think anybody will touch either of the Weathermans. Hiatt getting through Noble early on will be huge for Ballard's team chances.
