Remember Jackson Vroman ?

Jackson Vroman is playing 'pro' basketball overseas.

Only Google would find me a story about the FIBA Asia Champions Cup. Vroman scored 32 points.

What I liked best about Vroman was that he seemed to get better every time he hit the court! So much fun to watch him make moves under the basket in his later years.

I got to meet him and Alexander on their visit to ISU...Vroman was rocking the "colored wife-beater" shirt and short hair...looked like a beanpole. I was shocked when my roommate told me he was going to be a beast on the boards that season...guess you sometimes can't measure a guy's motor from looking at him :wink:

I loved Vroman's game, balls to the wall all of the time. I think he was quicker and more athletic than Hamilton, though, but I'd be real happy to see Justin develop into another Homan, which is very possible.

he has been playing overseas since he left the NBA. he actually had a pretty bad injury last year and was in the hospital for awhile

I was an undergrad during the Vroman/Homan years. It was always funny to see Vroman get on CyRide, he barely fit through the doors.
