Indians vs Yankees

Chien-Ming Wang's 2009 ERA is 34.50! If you've got DirecTV, hit up channel 388 and you can watch this laugh fest.

I have no idea what the hell Girardi is thinking. Wang should have started the year at Triple A since he didn't pitch much after the all-star break last year. He needed one or two full starts at triple A to start.

Yankees need to:
1. Send Wang down
2. Move Chamberlain back into the bullpen so there is someone who knows how to pitch not named Rivera
3. Hang on until A-Rod gets back
4. Get Matsui and Nady healthy

Fun things from the box score (only in the 5th)

5 Hrs for Cleveland
Mark DeRosa has 6 RBI
Yankees have given up 6 walks
Indians lead AL in getting walks.

The 14 run HALF inning lasted 37 Minutes.
Additionally that is the most runs the Yankees have ever allowed in a single inning.

The Indians tied the club record for most runs in an inning. Last time they did it was in 1950 against the Philadelphia A's.

Very nice. Need to go see some highlights.

As an Indians fan the other things that are important to me.
1) Carmona has looked good for the 1st time this year, and today is a great day to get your confidence back and a great lineup to do it against.
2) If Carmona can make it through 7 gives our bullpen some much needed rest.
3) Clearly between the 1st game of this series and today's game the Indians offense is officially on fire. (even though it was a loss yesterday wasn't bad either)
4) NewYork's bullpen is getting sapped these 1st three games, if we can get Burnett out of the game early tommorow (5th or before) it bodes really well for Cleveland.

Than a question for the board not necessarily Cleveland related. Is the New Yankee Stadium really as hitter friendly as it has seemed this series or are both teams offenses just hitting dingers left and right?

If Carmona can start pitching well for us that will be huge. Our offense is obviously there take a look but if our pitching can be good and give our bullpen some rest well be set. I hope we can inch our way back to the .500 mark with some more confidence.

It's the same dimensions and stuff as old Yankee Stadium so I'd guess just the offenses. The fact that it's not as enclosed as much might have an effect but I don't know.

- Now six home runs for Cleveland. This one by Hafner, his fourth of the year. He seems healthy and back. Anyone playing Fantasy Baseball i recommend picking him up.
- Yankee fans once again chanting 'We want Swisher'
- I am listening on MLB audio. Announcers seem convinced this is as much of a hitter's park as Texas. Mostly due to the wind. They say there is only 1 place for it to go in and one place for it to go out. Meaning when there is wind it will always be headed towards the outfield fences, so they say. I personally think it is way too small of a sample sixe to judge.
- More notes about the 14 run inning. Every Indian had at least 1 hit, every Indian had at least 1 run.

He's leading the majors in ERA. Who wouldn't want him?

This is exactly why Joba needs to revisit the bullpen. They have no one there, and he's extremely good out of the 'pen and setting up Rivera.
