Following Iowa State’s 20-17 win over Iowa on Saturday, the Big 12 honored two Cyclones with player of the week honors on Monday morning.

After his seven tackle, two sack performance, senior defensive end Cory Morrissey was named the Big 12’s Defensive Player of the Week.

Sophomore kicker Cole Netten buried a 42-yard game winning field goal in Kinnick Stadium and was named the Big 12’s Special Teams Player of the Week because of it. Netten also converted on a 47-yard field goal early in the second quarter.
