Another piece of Iowa State’s 2013-14 basketball schedule was announced on Tuesday afternoon. The Cyclones will host Auburn on Dec. 2 in Hilton Coliseum in the first Big 12-SEC Challenge. 

“The Big 12 is excited to enter into another partnership with the SEC,” said Commissioner Bob Bowlsby in a release. “It will add more quality opponents to our schools’ annually strong non-conference schedules and provide an additional avenue to showcase some outstanding intersectional matchups.”

All 10 Big 12-SEC Challenge games will be aired on ESPN’s family of networks. 

Auburn went 9-23 last seson and 3-15 in the SEC and lost 16 of its last 17 games.
