 AMESGeorges Niang laughed when he was asked if he’d be happy to be able to "hold something over" his former coach/mentor, Fred Hoiberg, soon.

 Niang — who needs four points to pass Hoiberg for third on ISU’s all-time scoring chart — stuck with his humble lines, though.

 "He’s, uh, still a lot better than I am," Niang said. "I don’t know if I could ever scratch the surface of him."
