The Cyclones moved up one spot in both of America’s major college basketball polls this week but the big news coming from Monday is that for the first time in history, seven Big 12 programs are ranked in the top 25.

Per a press release from the league, "the Big 12 boasts the nation’s best winning percentage (.857, 90-15) and has the fewest losses of any conference.  It is rated as the No. 1 league in the latest RPI and Big 12 teams have won 28 of their last 30 games overall, including a 28-game winning streak between December 6 – 20.  The Big 12 has had at least one team in the top 25 for every week in its entire history, a span of 354 consecutive weeks."

Iowa State is No. 12 in both the AP and USA Today Top 25’s.
