KIssimmee Osceola (Fla.) High School cornerback Stephon Brown has committed to Paul Rhoads‘ ISU football program.

Brown, a 5-11, 175-pounder, announced his decision this afternoon via Twitter:

"I was gonna wait till Wednesday but I have officially committed to play football at Iowa state #cyclONEnation," Brown typed as he spread the news via social media.

According to The Orlando Sentinel, Brown chose the Cyclones over Florida Atlantic, Marshall and North Carolina State, though he boasted more than a dozen offers.

Brown was on hand for ISU’s 49-28 loss to Baylor Saturday night.

"The first day I got here, seeing the coaches and seeing the fans for the first time with the big-time crowd against a big-time opponent … overall if was great," Brown told The Sentinel. "The fans were great and the tailgating was crazy, seeing all the fans lined up for the D-1 game. It was just a great experience for me."
