Iowa State offensive lineman Jarrod Hufford will return to the program for a fifth season on the field in 2024.

The Newark, Ohio native is using his extra year as part of the COVID-19 pandemic allowances in college football, he announced Monday.

Hufford has been one of Iowa State’s most consistent characters on the offensive line, playing in every game going back to the 2021 season.

Iowa State opens the 2024 season on Saturday, August 31 against North Dakota at Jack Trice Stadium.
