Former Iowa State wide receiver Xavier Hutchinson became the second Cyclone drafted in the 2023 NFL Draft on Saturday, being selected by the Houston Texans in the sixth round with the 205th pick overall.

During his time in Ames, Hutchinson amassed 15 touchdowns and 2,929 yards as a receiver, including 1,171 during his final season as a Cyclone.

Hutchinson’s stout season also saw him earn 107 receptions, an average of nearly nine catches per game.
