As first reported by college basketball reporter Jon Rothstein, Iowa State will be playing in the 2024 Maui Invitational.

The trip will be the first appearance the program has made at the November tournament since 2018, when it earned fifth place by winning two of its three games.

Other teams listed as confirmed programs competing include North Carolina, UConn, Michigan State, Memphis, Colorado, and Dayton.

An eighth program has not yet been confirmed and there is no timetable for an official announcement, according to the report.
