Every year, the NFL puts out a list of its top 100 players going into the upcoming season.

For the first time in his career, former Iowa State running back David Montgomery has made the list, coming in at No. 98.

Montgomery enters his fourth season in the league, playing for the Chicago Bears for the entirety of his career thus far.

The former Cyclone finished the 2021 year with a career low of 13 games played in which he rushed for 849 yards on 225 attempts.

Chicago will open the season on Sunday, September 11 against the San Francisco 49ers at home. The game is scheduled for a noon kickoff.
